Moving!

This is a blog for myself. Last week I found out I will be moving to Ireland before the end of this year, and writing about it will keep my head clear from all the stress this causes.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited about it. It's a true adventure! Despite me being European and living close to, well, everywhere, I really don't know much about Ireland and the city I'm moving to, Galway. I find myself having to crash course national history, economical and social information, education, stuff to do, … It does look very pretty. Green and exotic, but also vibrant and interesting.

The move itself, however, and all the things around it, are a little daunting. Giving up my job, getting rid of the apartment, signing us off in Belgium at the administrations and utility companies, finding a place for storing our stuff, and then doing it all again the other way around, finding a place to live over there… it's tiring just thinking about it :)
